Lambatindur is an isolated mountain peak in Strandir district, which is part of the Westfjords in Iceland. Lambatindur is 854 meters high and offers a unique view over the fjord Bjarnarfjörður and the ocean. Lambatindur is also known for being a place of magic and good fate.

To reach Lambatindur you have to walk about four kilometers along trails, which start at Hotel Djúpavík. The trail is rather easy at the beginning, but becomes steeper and quite demanding the further you climb. 

Not many tourists visit Lambatindur, so it is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature in peace and quiet.

Along the way to Djúpavík you pass the Sorcerer's Cottage, which is part of the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft. You can also see varied landscapes, such as green lowlands, interesting rock formations and the driftwood of Siberian trees that pile up on the shore. You may even spot seals playing in the fjord.
